I Svarteste Granskauen – Igor & Dimitry 2020
Igor Dunderovic, dramatiker og visesanger sammen med Demetrio Scopellti, gitarist og produsent har laget en barneplate som er morsom for alle aldre, forhåpentligvis litt på kanten, og ikke for mye.
Sammen har de siden 2015 satt opp et dusin forestillinger, (interaktiv musikal) med historien om trollet Ib som bor i Svarteste Granskauen. Det er mange karakterer i historien og Granskauen og alle sammen har en historie å fortelle, og albumet er utvidelse av dette universet.

Almir Meskovic and Daniel Lazar, both from Norwegian Academy of Music, have that special ability to perform etnical music with that authentic feeling that classical musicians often hide away. This combo of outstanding technique and feel is what defines the very best artists. Daniel (from Serbia) and Almir (from Bosnia) bring into the duo their musical heritage from the areas of Balkan where the Christians, Muslims, and rest of the world meet. A connoisseur will appreciate this. Gypsy Mozart is a charming reference to that “clash of cultures”. Enjoy!

Sigurd Jovik Bræin is a musicologist from University of Oslo. In 2014 he presented, top graded, a thesis on: “How norwegians listen to Music from Balkans”. From an old famous family of Norwegian musicians, (Bræin), Sigurd carries a heritage of traditional music, and choses to study those Balkan expressions, where traditional music still lives with even the youth. Anyway, S.J. has got the hang of this stuff, and Kyrie by Bræin is a good piece of craftsmanship. Beautiful short thesis expressing the etno way without a word. Great Work! Enjoy! SPOTIFY HER
